My recent experiences, with Jack Nichols/Realtor, has proven not only to be educational, but an experience in great patience and tenacity. With the Seller in South Carolina, Lender in Jacksonville, Florida, Title Company in Forth Worth, Texas, property in Austin, Texas and the closing office in Boston, Massachusetts, the amount of coordination, long distance calls, and paper work must have been overwhelming.
Throughout the entire process, Mr. Nichols was tireless and professional. He made every effort to assure myself and other family members who were involved, that everything would go smoothly, in spite of the complexities. He proved to be both correct and trustworthy.
Mr. Nichols' long career and experience certainly came through on or behalf, and we recommend him as a skillful and focused Realtor, and wish to thank him for his diligence and thoroughness. Purchasing this property, sight unseen, was very difficult, and complicated, and we could not have done it without him.

We wanted everyone to know how much we appreciate the incredible effort Jack Nichols put into our recent home real estate transactions. From the quick sale of Saloni's residence, through the search for the right house and deal, to the successful negotiation of our new home, his Austin market experience and high energy level drove us over the bumps that popped up along the way.
Jack demonstrated what really separates him from the crowd during the financing phase. He maneuvered us through a minefield of challenges such as a job change, marriage preparation issues, credit issues, and a last-minute back out by the lender of first choice. Like a seasoned mortgage veteran, his skill, network of contacts, inexhaustible energy, and above all his indomitable spirit got us into our home under the best possible terms, in River Place.
We cannot thank Jack Nichols enough for his genuinely personal touch during this whirlwind time. A consummate negotiator, Jack listened and observed. He obviously saw and felt our needs and dreams and grabbed onto them, championing our effort with a yeoman performance, pushing harder for us at times than we were able to push ourselves.

To Whom It May Concern:
I met Jack Nichols in April when our home was on the market in Lake Pointe. Our home was listed with another area Real Estate Agent, and Jack was showing our home to his clients. I was at home when he arrived to show the house. I was going to leave, but he asked me to stay, in case his clients had any questions about our home. I was very impressed with the way he was "selling our home".
Four months later our house was still on the market at $339K. We had already left the Austin area, and had several problems with our Real Estate Agent. We decided it was time for a change. We talked to 3 different agents, but I kept thinking about Jack. I really liked the fact that he was so enthused about selling our home when he was there in April.
I tracked him down through the ReMax website and emailed him. I was impressed that he remembered our home, and described it to the letter. He said he could not believe it was still on the market, and was excited we contacted him. We chose Jack, even though my husband had never met him. I felt that strongly about his ability to sell our home.
Our listing with Jack started on August 27. We had a contract on the house by September 3rd, exactly one week later. We sold our house because Jack has such a great way of presenting a home to potential buyers. That and dumb luck.
The weather had been really bad in Austin that Labor Day weekend, and Jack was holding an open house. What he didn't know was that the local newspaper had failed to run several open house ads for that weekend. Ours happened to be one of the lucky few they misplaced. However, Jack had placed open house signs on Bee Caves Rd. The buyers saw the signs, and came to look at the house. They were the only ones to attend the open house. We had a contract from them the next day.
We are certain we got the contract because of the way Jack presented our home to the buyers. We also feel Jack's twenty plus years of experience in the Real Estate business, was invaluable during the contract negotiations.
We were thoroughly impressed with Jack's salesmanship and his knowledge of the Real Estate business. We would definitely recommend him to anyone who is selling or buying a home, and we would not hesitate to use his services again.

Dear Mary,
We wanted to drop you a quick note to let you know about our positive experience working with Jack Nichols over the last month. We met Jack by chance at an open house that he was hosting in Lake Pointe in early November.
We were a bit gun-shy after a negative experience with a local builder, but we were struck by his exuberance, and when we decided to begin a more active search for a house we asked Jack for his help. It was the best decision we could have made. When we met Jack the following weekend, we discovered that he was not only enthusiastic, but friendly, organized and a terrific listener. His listening skills were demonstrated when, based on a couple of short conversations, he selected seven homes for visits, of which three were of great interest to us. This may not seem special to you, but to give you an idea of our discerning tastes, in our last home search we looked at nearly 70 homes over 3 months before we found the right one. Within 72 hours we had a contract pending on a home.
The best part of the relationship, however came after we agreed on a contract. During the entire process Jack worked tirelessly to make sure that everything came off without a hitch. He met with us at odd hours, made several trips to Rich's office to accommodate our busy schedule, made recommendations on vendors, made trips to the house to let people in and out, and worked behind the scenes to make a complex three party sale as simple as possible for us.
His attention to detail is outstanding and he repeatedly caught little things throughout the process that we had overlooked. In the end, we got a great house at a fair price and made a friend in the process. If Jack's prodigious artistic and poetic talents don't spirit him away from real estate, we will gladly use his services for our future real estate needs!
